17 December 2009 Congratulations of Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine on the occasion of 65 anniversary of the Institute of International Relations

Foreign Minister of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko on behalf of the Ministry, all of the diplomatic corps and personally delivered to professors, staff and students of the Institute of International Relations (IIR) sincere congratulations to the 65 th anniversary of the Institute.

As President of the Alumni Association of IIR Mr. Poroshenko said: "it’s a great honor - to be involved in the history of this institution. Within its walls are the highly professional experts in the field of foreign relations are being prepared, a strong scientific school is created. Among the graduates of the Institute are those who laid the foundations of foreign policy of independent Ukraine, and now present national interests of our country to the world stage".

Foreign Minister of Ukraine expressed his conviction that: "The professionalism of the teaching staff, curiosity and dedication of the students, the traditions of patriotism and high level of diplomatic national school is a guarantee that graduates of the Institute of International Relations will continue to promote national ambitions in the foreign policy world-wide."
