Teaches normative courses: “History of International Law”, “Public International Law”, “History of International Legal Teachings”, “Law of International Treaties”. Author and co-author of monographs and more than 150 scientific and scientific-methodic works. Author (co-author) of more than 300 drafts legislation. President of Ukrainian Association of International Law. Member of the Permanent Court of Arbitration (The Hague). Corresponding Member of the Academy of Legal Sciences of Ukraine. Editor-in-chief of the academic and research journal “Ukrainian Journal of International Law”. Member of the editorial board of “Political Thought” journal. Professor of the Chair of International Law of the Institute of International Relations of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv. Main directions of scientific and practical activity: Public International Law; State Law of Foreign States; International Customs Law; Activity of International Judicial Institutions; International Protection of National Minorities; International and Intrastate Law; Recognition in International Law; Legal Succession of States. Teaches normative course “Public International Law”, special course – “International Legal Mechanisms of Protection of Human Rights”. Author of monograph and more than 90 scientific and scientific-methodic works. In 1998-2004 - permanent member of Advisory Committee of Framework Convention for the Protection of National Minorities (expert from Ukraine). In 2007 Professor Mytsyk was elected by the Committee of Ministers of Council of Europe as a member of Committee of Experts of the European Charter for Regional or Minority Languages from Ukraine. Member of All Ukrainian non-governmental organization “Ukrainian Association of International Law”; member of the “Union of Attorneys of Ukraine”. Has prepared four Candidates of Law with a specialization in international law.

Associate Professor Khonin has many times been invited to lecture for students and teachers of University-Paris II, Comenius University (Bratislava), Charles University (Prague), Universities of Krakow, Lublin, Leipzig, Warsaw, Aden and Moscow State Institute of International Relations (University) of the Ministry for Foreign Affairs of Russian Federation. From 01.09.2010 – Assistant Professor of the Chair of International law of Institute of International Relations of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv. Member of the Editorial Board of “Review of the Ukrainian Parliament Commissioner for Human Rights”, “East European and Russian Yearbook of International and Comparative Law”, “Ukrainian Yearbook of International Law”. Author of 4 individual and 4 collective monographs, more than 40 publications in the field of general theory and history of international law, international treaty law, international humanitarian law, international human rights law, urgent problems of modern international law, international legal activity of Ukraine published in Ukraine, France, Russia, Georgia, USA, etc. Teaches courses: history of international law, history of international legal teachings, theory and practice of international law. |
