Volodymyr A. Manzhola

Doctor of History, Professor.In 1977 he graduated from the International Relations and International Law faculty of the Kyiv Shevchenko State University. He defended Ph.D. (candidate) thesis in 1983 and Doctorate thesis in 1993. In 1977-1980 he worked as an interpreter in Guinea and Algeria. After completing his postgraduate studies he worked as Assistant Professor from 1984, as Associate Professor from 1987, during 1994-1998 and from 2001 until now – Head of the International Relations and Foreign Policy Department. During 1998-2001 he was the Counsellor of the Embassy of Ukraine in France.
Had traineeship and lectured in higher schools and academic institutions of France (the Sorbonne University, Paris-2/"Pantheon-Assa"; Institute of political sciences, French Institute of international relations), Belgium (Free University of Brussels), Great Britain (Royal Institute of International relations/ "Chetem House", London School of Economy), the USA (Harvard University), Bulgaria (South-West Neophit Rylskyi University, Blagoyevgrad), Russia (Moscow State Institute of International Relations (University) / "MGIMO", the Russian Academy of Science Institute of Europe, the Russian Academy of Science Institute of world economy and international relations). The member of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Scientific Council. The head of the Specialized Academic Council.
Specializes in contemporary international relations, international and European security, foreign policy of Ukraine and France.
Awarded with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Honorary reward of the III degree "For essential contribution into the development of Ukrainian diplomacy and successful provision of Ukrainian interests at the international stage" (2004). Serhiy P. Halaka
Doctor of Political sciences, Professor.
In 1978 he graduated from the International Relations and International Law faculty of the Kyiv Shevchenko State University. He defended Ph.D. (candidate) thesis in 1987 and Doctorate thesis in 2006.
He worked as Assistant Professor from 1984, as Associate Professor from 1992, and as Professor of the International Relations and Foreign Policy Department from 2007.
Had traineeship in Monterrey University (Monterrey), in Maryland University (College Park city), Harvard University (USA), the Center of international relation studies (CERI, Paris, France). In 2000-2001 he lectured in NATO Defense College (Rome, Italy).
Specializes in USA foreign policy, nonproliferation, problems of international and regional security.

Valeriy V. Kopiyka
Doctor of Political sciences, ProfessorIn 1984 he graduated from the International Relations and International Law faculty of the Kyiv Shevchenko State University. He defended Ph.D. (candidate) thesis in 1990 and Doctorate thesis in 2004.
He worked as Assistant Professor after post-graduate studies from 1990, as Associate Professor from 1996, and as Professor of the International Relations and Foreign Policy Department from 2007. From 2007 he occupied the post of the Deputy Director of the Institute of International Relations on educational activity and from 2009 – the post of the Director of the Institute of International Relations.
Had traineeship and lectured in higher schools and academic institutions of Belgium (Free University of Brussels), Great Britain (Hall University), Bulgaria (South-West Neophit Rylskyi University, Blagoyevgrad), Russia (the Russian Academy of Science Institute of Europe, the Russian Academy of Science Institute of world economy and international relations).
Specializes in European integration issues and foreign policy of the Western European states. Awarded with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Honorary diploma.

Olena A. Koppel
Doctor of History, Professor In 1977 she graduated from the Historical faculty of the Kyiv Shevchenko State University. She defended Ph.D. (candidate) thesis in 1981 and Doctorate thesis in 1999.
She worked as Assistant Professor from 1980, as Associate Professor from 1985, and as Professor of the International Relations and Foreign Policy Department from 1999.
Had traineeship in the University of Munster (Germany).
Specializes in political problems of international systems and global development, theory of civilizations, international relations in the Middle East, religious factor in international relations.
In 2000 was declared the best professor of the Kyiv National Shevchenko University. Awarded with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Honorary diploma.

Hryhoriy M. Perepelytsya

Doctor of Political sciences, Professor.In 1976 he graduated from Kyiv higher naval college, in 1984 Military Academy named after V.Lenin (obtained military and pedagogical specialty of a specialist-professor of social sciences. He defended Ph.D. (candidate) thesis in 1990 and Doctorate thesis in 1996.
From 1984 he worked as a professor in Kyiv higher naval college. From 1995 he was the head of military policy department and from 2003 - Deputy Director of the National Institute of strategic studies. From 2006 – professor of the International Relations and Foreign Policy Department.

Svitlana V. Andrushchenko

Ph.D. in political sciences, Associate Professor. In 1998 she graduated from the Institute of International Relations of Kyiv National Shevchenko University. She defended Ph.D. (candidate) thesis in 2001.
She worked as Assistant Professor from 1998, as Associate Professor of the International Relations and Foreign Policy Department from 2004.

In 1986 he graduated from the Historical faculty of the Kyiv Shevchenko State University. He defended Ph.D. (candidate) thesis in 1991.
He worked as Assistant Professor from 1989, as Associate Professor of the Historical faculty from 1997, and as Associate Professor of the International Relations and Foreign Policy Department from 1998.
Had traineeship in institutes of Canada, Croatia, Serbia, Finland and Germany. Lectured in Zagreb University (Croatia).

Mykola H. Kapitonenko
Ph.D. in political sciences, Associate Professor. In 2001 he graduated from the Institute of International Relations of Kyiv National Shevchenko University. He defended Ph.D. (candidate) thesis in 2004.
He worked as Assistant Professor from 2001, as Associate Professor of the International Relations and Foreign Policy Department from 2006. From 2001 – Executive Director of the Center of international relations studies (CIRS).
In 2005 he lectured courses on conflictology and ethnic conflicts in the Iowa state University (USA).
Specializes in conflictology and theory of negotiations, history of international relations, actual problems of foreign policy of Ukraine, theory of international relations.
The winner of the Kyiv National Shevchenko University premium, 2004, and of the traineeship of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine for young scientists.

Victor Y. Konstantynov
Ph.D. in political sciences, Associate Professor. In 1995 he graduated from the Institute of International Relations of Kyiv National Shevchenko University. He defended Ph.D. (candidate) thesis in 2000.
He worked as Assistant Professor from 1997, as Associate Professor of the International Relations and Foreign Policy Department from 2003. From 2003 – Academic Secretary of the Specialized Academic Council, speciality "Political problems of international systems and global development".
Specializes in international regionalism issues, regional security and stability, regional cooperation at the post-soviet space, methodology of international relations studies.

Igor O. Mingazutdinov
Ph.D. in History, Associate Professor. In 1984 he graduated from the International Relations and International Law faculty of the Kyiv Shevchenko State University. He defended Ph.D. (candidate) thesis in 1987.
From 1987 till 1991 he worked as a researcher of the USSR Academy of Science Institute of social and economic problems of foreign countries, 1992-1993 – as a Senior Researcher of the National Academy of science of Ukraine Institute of world economy and international relations, 1993-1995 – the second, the first secretary of the Department of Europe and America of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine. From 1995 he is Associate Professor of the International Relations and Foreign Policy Department. From 2000 – Director of the Innovative center on international educational programs "INCOS".
In 1991-1992 he was the visiting professor of the faculty of politics and international studies of Warwick University (Coventry, Great Britain). In 1994 he graduated from qualification courses in Vienna diplomatic academy (Vienna, Austria). Lectured in Diplomatic academy of the PRC (Beijing).
