Student life
IIR Student Council
Student Council is a student self-government organization. It consists of 27 members, including 5 representatives of the Scientific Association of Students and Postgraduates, Student Union, UNESCO Youth Foundation, Hostel Student Council and the institute’s newspaper – The Mizhnarodnyk (The Internationalist), and two representatives from student clubs: IIR Debate Club and Political Club “Ambassador”. The other 20 members are elected by their fellow students (freshmen, sophomores, juniors and seniors) on each of 5 departments.
Our main purpose is to provide our students with all necessary conditions for their study. We also try to arrange our free time by organizing competitions, concerts, conferences, publishing our own newspaper, launching fundraising campaigns for charity, providing constant support with whatever issues our fellow students may have.
